Accessibility.

Our approach to making Sweet Uproar usable, and how to report a barrier.

Last updated:

Our aim

We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 level AA as a development target. We have not established full conformance and do not claim certification.

Using the website

Pages use headings, landmarks, descriptive image alternatives, visible keyboard focus and a skip-to-content link. Layouts adapt to smaller screens. The mobile menu can be used with a keyboard and closed with Escape. The image gallery supports arrow keys and Escape and returns focus to its opening button.

Motion and banners

The Sweet Uproar homepage and Kara Viora homepage have rotating banner displays with manual controls and a pause button. Rotation pauses while a display has keyboard focus or pointer hover, and when the page is hidden. A reduced-motion preference disables automatic rotation. You can use your browser or device settings to request reduced motion.

Known limitations and testing

Some brand artwork contains text within images; brand names and key page content are also provided as text or image alternatives. Local browser checks covered keyboard interactions and page layouts at phone, tablet and desktop sizes. Independent screen-reader testing, a full WCAG audit and checks on a wider range of physical devices remain outstanding. These checks do not establish that every combination of browser and assistive technology works without barriers.

Report a problem or request another format

Email hello@sweetuproar.uk. Please include the page address and enough detail for us to understand your request. Tell us what you were trying to do, which page caused difficulty, and the format or adjustment that would help. Browser or assistive-technology details are optional. Please do not send medical details. We will consider requests individually and explain what we can provide.

Responsibility and review

Neil Ault trading as Sweet Uproar Entertainment is responsible for this website and statement. We review accessibility when features or content change and when problems are reported. The date above identifies the latest update.
